Currently we’re finishing off the script for the film, its pretty locked down now and we’re very aware that from previous films that we expect there to be additions and alterations to the script as production progresses. In a production which could last for quite some time, this is quite inevitable and I think also can often crop up some of the best ideas.
We will hopefully post a synopsis of the film up pretty soon.
We have started to divide up different environments where the film takes place between the staff, so we all know that we have work to do whenever we can.
As we create the environments we can use a basic scene of these to use in 3d Pre-vis of the film.
By making a 3d pre-vis we can see what shots we need for each sequence, and what we will need to create in the environment, rather than dressing the whole environment and then realising later that something we’ve spent a lot of time over will never be seen.

I have written a couple of scripts to save scenes, for shots, and for model scenes - they could do with being tested for a bit internally to see that they all work ok.
But they should keep things tidy and preserve a decent file structure that everyone can use to keep some continuity between different artists.
I plan to release them puclicly once I’ve tested them a bit (I’m sure they’re not super tidy script wise but I’m learning)
Here are a couple of shots of it in action jackson:

Hi there,
Bank Affairs is a short film being produced by a group of cg artists, along with the additional help of a few more people who are willing to help out in certain areas.
The story was originally the idea of Graham Reeves, and has been developed further by the group from May 2007 until when? we’re not sure
To begin with the core of our group was:
Between us we produced 7 short films while at the University of Hertfordshire where we graduated summer 2006 (you can see a selection of them in our previous work page here).
Currently we all work in post-production studios London - and despite the often demanding jobs we plan to develop our own short film in our spare time when possible.
To help make this project more reachable we are producing it in a larger team than we have before, not only the 4 of us, but also we have enlisted Thomas Cannell, as a character artist, and John Godwin (also from University of Hertfordshire) to help us mainly with the 2d and concept side of things.
We have set up this blog, and a forum which is mostly just for own use at the moment to communicate ideas and when applicable a useful way to show and discuss 2d/3d assets that we make to the rest of the team.
Hopefully our blog will be an insightful look into the different challenges we face - particularly the differences between making short films at uni, and making them alongside a full time job.
Also we will try to talk about the process of making the film such as the possibily of funding, sponsorship, publicity, marketing and most importantly the progress on the actual film.
